Cardiac Science G5 Features
The Powerheart G5 is equipped with RescueCoach technology to walk you through every step of the process. Once the device is turned on your own personal rescue coach will talk you through each step from calling 911, placing the electrode pads, and CPR. The Cardiac Science G5 can toggle between two different languages making it easy for anyone to use and diminishing the language barrier.
The Powerheart G5 can detect the heart rhythm and decides if a shock is advised. If a shock is needed the device will determine the correct energy level and deliver the shock with no button pressing needed. This removes any hesitation from the rescue and they can be sure the best practices are being followed. If the shock was unsuccessful the Powerheart G5 AED will increase the energy level and provide another shock within 10 seconds.
Gracefulness and delicate hands are not a part of a hectic emergency situation, so the Cardiac Science G5 is designed to withstand rugged environments. The Powerheart G5 has an IP55 rating and can withstand vibrations, drops, water, and dust.
