Basic First Aid Training (Up to 12 Students)

Basic first-aid training classes are a great way to learn essential skills to respond effectively to common injuries and emergencies. Led by certified Health & Safety Institute (HSI) instructors, these first aid classes provide comprehensive, hands-on instruction in a supportive and interactive environment. Designed to accommodate up to 12 students, each participant can receive personalized attention and the opportunity to practice and refine their first aid skills.

During our basic first aid training class, which typically takes 3 to 4 hours, participants are introduced to a variety of topics crucial for emergency response, including:

  • Assessing an emergency situation
  • Calling for help
  • Managing choking
  • Treating wounds (cuts and burns)
  • Handling fractures and sprains
  • Recognizing and responding to strokes and seizures
  • Managing shock
  • Controlling bleeding

Under the guidance of experienced HSI instructors, students practice techniques on manikins and participate in scenario-based exercises. This hands-on approach not only helps solidify the knowledge gained but also boosts the confidence of participants, preparing them to act decisively in real-life situations. Upon completing the basic first aid training class, students receive certification, acknowledging their ability to provide competent first aid care. This training is invaluable not just for personal knowledge but also enhances safety in workplaces, schools, and community spaces.
