Office Email about your AED

We want to thank you for keeping an AED available at your office.  You have taken first step in potentially saving a life in a Cardiac emergency. 

One of the most important steps in having an AED available is to make sure everyone knows where it is and what it looks like.  Statistics show that the survival rate of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest victim goes down 10% every minute that goes by without the use of an AED.  Time is extremely important!

If everyone in your office is not familiar where your AED is located, please copy and paste this email below (or something similar) to ensure everyone is prepared.

I just wanted to remind everyone that we have an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) on the premises.   Hopefully we will never have to use it, but I want to make sure everyone knows where it is located in case of an emergency. 

Our AED is located (insert your location here).

The first person who can take a picture of it and attach it to a reply all email can leave 10 minutes early today. (Ha! the perfect incentive for everyone to become familiar with the AED)
