We provide preventative maintenance on AEDs to make sure your AED is in proper working order.  We will fully test out the unit and make sure everything is up to date.  Our inspection includes:

• Connecting the AED to a defibrillator analyzer and make the unit provide 3 shocks.  We confirm that the energy of the shocks are at the appropriate levels as per the manufacturer of the AED.
• Updating the software of the unit to the most current version
• Verifying that the electrodes and battery are still up to date and are working properly
• Testing to make sure all voice prompts are audible, clear, and complete
• Cleaning of your unit

We charge a flat rate of $125 for preventative maintenance. Once we have contacted you and you are ready to move forward with the maintenance we will send you a shipping label to send your unit to us.  We will also ship the unit back to you free of charge as well. If you are in need of new electrodes or batteries that will be an additional cost.
